Sutton's Hidden Worlds - Dance

Mel Simpson is a Sutton-based Dance Artist, Choreographer and Education Specialist, having worked internationally in opera, musical theatre, independent film and music video. Mel Simpson has created a dance lesson about embodying creatures that are key to Sutton’s biodiversity strategy, helping teach children all about the life cycles of these animals. Like the biology lessons, this lesson focuses on two key species for biodiversity in Sutton, called the Stag Beetle and the Small Blue Butterfly.
