Sutton STEAMs Ahead is funded by a Cultural Impact Award as part of the Mayor of London’s London Borough of Culture programme. In 2023, the London Borough of Sutton is delivering this ambitious programme with the aim of putting culture at the heart of local communities. Sutton STEAMs Ahead aims to uniquely blend the arts and sciences through S.T.E.A.M themes (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths).

The STEAM Summer Calendar

Find a range of events and activities happening throughout Summer 2023. The Summer Reading Club STEAM Storytimes and drop-in activities featue engaging storytelling and crafts to entertain all primary school children. Sutton Council’s Cultural Services also brings the Summer Programme of events full of crafts, adventure trails and theatre shows to enjoy. And don’t miss the Stories from the Shed series which features a range of storytelling, workshops and art installations from a range of professional creative artists and performers.
