Meet the Scientist Competition at the Natural History Museum

Meet the Scientist Competition with Natural History Museum

It’s competition time! Sutton’s Hidden Worlds has teamed up with the Natural History Museum’s Nature Overheard project to provide a lucky school group the chance to get a behind-the-scenes visit at the Natural History Museum and meet a scientist for the day.

To enter, schools must:

  1. Submit feedback forms from any classes and teachers who took part in Sutton’s Hidden Worlds.
  2. Upload photos or samples of your work to our feedback form, or send them to suttonsteamsahead@sutton.gov.uk! These can be photos of your classes taking part in these lessons, samples of some of the creative writing they did, copies of the rock tours they created, pictures of the bug hotels they built, or anything else inspired by the theme of Sutton’s Hidden Worlds!
Please note any submitted photos could be used for promotional and evaluation purposes so please ensure you have the correct permissions for this.

Once you have completed a Sutton's Hidden Worlds lesson, please fill in these evaluation forms. These are google forms that should take no more than 5 minutes to complete. Your feedback is a vital tool that helps us improve our work and can directly help us to access funding for future projects.

The deadline for the competition will be 20 October 2023 so all schools can take part.
